Saving all around on car insurance!

Just saved a bundle (£125!) using Confused for my car insurance and went through its4me - while doing the form filling on-line I noticed they added a 'handling charge' for paying with debit or credit cards but when I contacted them by phone 0800 0524442 (thanks to SAYNOTO0870) and moaned about this as, after all, there was no other way to pay - they even waived the fee! :D

Whoo!

Cool. How much was the fee out of interest?

I wasn't paying much attention to the actual figure and they didn't say - just added it to the total! It was about £10 for debit cards £15 for credit cards I think. (£15 is quite significant as it is 10% of the actual insurance cost!!!!)
