Graphics card question

Hi
My desktop PC is on it's last legs and I need to replace it. I don't have much money to spare so I'll have to try and find something secondhand.
I don't own a TV, and so I use my PC for watching DVDs, Youtube, using Netflix, Lovefilm and BBC iPlayer etc. Bearing this in mind... should I look for a separate graphics card in the PC I buy, or will onboard graphics be ok for the above tasks?
Thanks.

What's your budget?0

Hi TakeThis
To be honest my budget is tiny for a PC. I haven't got more than £200 to spend at the most... hence why I'm looking on places like eBay for something secondhand.0 -
You need to tell us exactly what the specs are of your pc so we can advise you.0

how bout going for an upgrade instead.
keeping the PSU, hdd, case, keyboard, monitor, mouse, dvd-rw from the old computer and just replacing the motherboard + cpu + process and graphics card with a motherboard bundle
http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/motherboardbundles/mbb-44104a.html
comes with the drivers cd only, just use your current OS.0 -
To answer your question:
Onboard will be just fine.0 -

entirely upto you fordmanchester, i only posted that motherboard bundle as i have that particular motherboard but i have the 6core version of the processor. the one posted is a 4core, same graphics card though, better than i thought, i played hitman and walle on it, which crash my older single core + nvidia graphics card.
I use mine to watch movies, games, internet i'm happy.
There was one small problem, the motherboard doesnt have a PATA / IDE connection only uses sata but you can get bi-direction adapters via ebay, but i just used 1 of my sata hdd and a usb memory stick to install my os,
on the plus side it has the ability to charge your mobile phone / mp3 player via the usb at night with the pc turned off.
only thing i wasnt happy about is the fact mine is £20 cheaper now.0 -
Thank you very much for all the information.0
