Don't worry. We get a lot of people here, and sometimes it's hard to remember that we were all there once, being unsure and seeking reassurance. Sometimes, we can "lose patience", but that's a failing on our part, and something we need to look at and act upon. Your response was a breath of fresh air, and hopefully it is a post we can all look back on when a similar poster comes along seeking reassuranceOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Can't stress enough how much you all have helped, if I hadn't stumbled upon an excel parking thread on here via google I would have just paid the £30 without thinking... And yeah hopefully, I understand that you all have been through it before a lot but it still reverts back to ur previous post saying "what if its me they decide to take to court" lol... Before I proceeded to disregard their invoices and threats I wanted to make absolutely sure that it was the right thing to do by outlining the FULL story...0 -
I understand that, but what's important to understand is that your story is no different from the thousands and thousands of other people with exactly the same story.
It is that doubt and indecision that these scum prey on. Look at my thread entitled something like "you will be charged £50 for reading this thread". Would you pay that? Of course you wouldn't. It's the same, just with some legalese "threatening" letters with red writing. Please please pay it no heed, and make sure you spread the wordOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Thanks, will do and I was only concerned because I thought that me parking in their car park and not adhering to the displayed rules/signing up for car share would have given them a case, but it's all been cleared up now... Thank you0 -
It isn't "their" car park, it belongs to the institution to which you attend. They have no more right to fine you than the toilet-cleaner does if you forget to pull the flush.
Did you get my PM?0 -

I did, I've responded and thank you so much, I'll keep you guys posted0 -
I'd just like my post about quantum theory to get a little more recognition. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Or if you are into physics, consider quantum mechanics. The likelihood of them taking you to court is the same as my mouse suddenly shifting a millimetre to the left.
Which is (if I recall) the size of the mouse multiplied by the distance I want it to move multiplied by the size of the area in which the mouse is enclosed, all divided by Planck's constant.
Look that up, and you've learned something today
OK, Halibut, I looked it up, and it's very fishy...but if Einstein predicted it...

If it's good enough for Brian Cox, it's good enough for meOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
