uPVC patio door - condensation / mist between panes

Hello
Just after some advice - our sliding patio door has recently been misting up / condensation between the panels, when searching the internet most suggest getting a glazier to look at it and more than likely an expensive replacement of the glass unit, however I have seen somewhere where they can drill a tiny breathe hole and put a small vent in.
Any ideas on cost before I get someone out on either replacement glass or the vent solution if at all possible?
Thanks in advance for responses

Double glazing is (as you know) 2 panes of glass, between which is absolutely nothing. When the units are made, a vacuum pump pulls out all of the air between the glass and it is this that gives the glass its insulating qualities. If you get some one to put a vent in it, then the double glazing is no longer double glazing - its simply 2 pieces of glass in a frame.
You need to replace the unit. Then it will act as double glazing. Allow £100 or therabouts to get the unit replaced form a glazier.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
