Claiming PPI having made a claim on the policy.

A friend has been paying PPI for the last 10 years on her mortgage.(Genuinely believing she had to have this)
She was made redundant after Xmas and made a claim on the policy although that has still not been settled and is causing considerable hardship.
Can she still make a claim for mis-selling having made this claim?
Thanks.

It will depend on what type of ppi this was, you need to post this here

having an MPPI doesnt mean it was mis-sold! PPI is not illegal.0

Did they pay out on the claim?
If they paid on the claim then the insurance did what it was designed to do and hence there is less chance of it being considerd mis-sold. Unless it can be proved it was added without your knowledge or consent.:www: Progress Report :www:
