  • You don't say if you are driving or going by other means to Luton. If you are going by train then I would stay somewhere in Luton itself and order an early taxi for your flight.

There is an Ibis and another hotel (possibly a TravelInn, I can't remember offhand) onsite at Luton Airport

If you are driving then anywhere where you can find a Travellodge for £15 would be suffice within half an hour of Luton, I'd think. For example it would take you about 30mins maximum to drive to Luton airport from Milton Keynes at 4 in the morning, still giving you plenty of time to check in.

if you are driving check the Luton Airport website. As well as the M1 widening at J10, there are extensive long term roadworks from the M1 to the airport itself. This could increase the travelling time considerably

I would advise staying as close to the airport as possible

There is a brand new Travelodge in Luton that has a huge amount of rooms at £15. It's 4 miles from the airport, but worth considering, and getting them to book you a taxi in the morning. Should only take 20 odd minutes in the morning.
  • You need to book 15 quid rooms at travelodge 21 days in advance. The 26 quid ones need to be booked a week ahead so it will be full price on Sunday .

That Travelodge opens on 2 March and the taxi companies are quoting £18 one way to the airport from it! Think it will be https://www.sleepinginairports.net for me!
