Is your cat a flopper or a precise placer?

Dizzie the Ninja Kitty tends to fall over and sleep where he lands. Sometimes he puts the effort in to hurl himself at the spot, but usually he just decides to give up standing and keels over sideways.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

My boy is a total flipper whereas his sister is so delicate she tucks everything in neatly and finishes it by wrapping her tail round her. It's quite funny to see the difference but then my boy cat is twice the size of his sister!0

my last cat nicki was very precise - I called him my 'temple cat' because he would lie down and place his forepaws in front -tuck his hind legs in and place his head very precisely with his forehead between his front paws. he would spend hours like this then rise, bow and delicately step down onto to sofa cushion (he would 'pray' on the arm of the sofa) and curl up for an hours snooze. He was also the most gentle cat in the world! and had saffron fur - a bit tattered - he did suffer FIV but with a grace which humbled me!0

Yup, and so does his brother Macius - exactly the same... OR sometimes he sits there kind or rocking side to side with his eyes closed and falls asleep like that.

my cat is a precise arm-of-the-sofa sleeper too, not prayer position, but seal position (ie front paws tucked back alongside his body, chin resting on arm of sofa, back legs stretched behind him).
He also curls himself right round to sleep on the sofa cushions and on the foot of the bed when I'm in it.0 -
Mine is a very precise person, precise about where to sleep, which food she likes, what time she fancies eating, what time to wake me up,which curtains to shread next, which bottles to throw off drawers to wake me up,where on the bed I am allowed........it goes on.....however does flop at front door when I return, but then is very precise about when I am allowed past without being attacked! She's great.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0
