Is your cat a flopper or a precise placer?

Title says it all.
When Giz settles, he tends to flop down as if he's had an exhausting day!!
(and we all know that's untrue!!!)
My old cat would quite delicately turn round and curl up to sleep.
What does your cat do?

Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

i have both.
one's a ragdoll will flop down without a care in the world anywhere literally.
my other cats are precise picky placers. tinks likes to do a few caer full turns put her bum down then curl up into a tight ball0 -
Orbit would settle anywhere but Miss Daisy tends to circle her 'landing area' before settling down.apart from when I'm in bed then it's where ever she pleases....0

Mine will only settle and lay down after they have kneaded their blanket or me for a good few minutes.0

My boys are floppers (that sounds SO wrong..) they'll come into the room and flop by our feet. Most of the time, our youngest will walk into the room and just flop and start rolling about for attention (even if we're the otherwise of the room to him) then he'll have a wash and flop back down and go to sleep! My other boy will flop in the most awkward places. His favourite is the top of the stairs, and there's been several times when he's got in the way and almost caused serious injury! There's hot pipes under the floor there, so I don't blame him really.
My two girls are more delicate, they'll choose a nice comfy spot and curl up to go to sleep. Very ladylike!0 -
Neither - she's a wedge into a tiny space and then expand using claws to move humans out of the way-er.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

My two girlies both choose a nice comfy position, usually have a little wash and carefully curl up and go to sleep. My two boys on the other hand basically flop down wherever they fancy and again have a wash before having a nice kip:D0

Mine is a placer. Places her 4rse between me and SO, then flops onto him for a cuddle as soon as her belly is rubbed.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Our male carefully places himself down. The female will carefully curve herself up unless she wants a fuss then she flops down onto you.0

Girl cat is a flopper.
Stroke her and she'll posatively fall over!
Boy is a turn around 3 times to flatten the grass before settling down.0 -
Murphy tends to wait until he's so exhausted he just flops over.
Flo spends 23.5 hours a day sleeping anyway, so it's hard to really tell with her.:wave:A highly active brain needs feeding often
