Advice please!

A lady I know has over two grand outstanding on a Vanquis card - she told me today that she pays around £100 a month and the interest is over £70! OMG!! Naturally I tried to advise but she says all attempts to get another (better rate) card are barred due to her age (late eighties) - it seems awful that she's stuck with such heavy interest, anyone know of a card that might entertain her? she never misses payments, has years of excellent payment history but is a pensioner...

She would be better doing a soft search there may be something on her file she is unaware of. Unfortunately some of these companies charge a very high APR. Capital 1 have a card which offers 0% apr at the moment to bad credit customers if thats what she is.
