shocking isn't it. i voted a few times for the celebrity fame academy for comic relief but wouldn't vote on anything else on TV. i know lots of people who vote for big brother type stuff though and don't vote in elections. maybe a TV show would be a good idea :-)
people don't seem to know who to vote for really. it would help if the parties could fill out a questionnaire saying where they stand on a selection of issues, on a sliding scale or multiple choice, then if you wanted to know which party shared your views you could fill out the same questionnaire and be told who agreed with your views on which issues.52% tight0 -
I reckon a televised election would be a great idea - would get the young people invovled/interested (maybe!).
I have to say that I forget to go and vote most of the time but this year am going to make a big effort to get to a poling station.
With regards to the orginal post - I have been trying to sort out finances & a divroce with my estranged husband for over a year (as you can imagine, it has cost a FORTUNE in solicitors fees) but I will never get so desperate to resolve it that I have to appear on TV and let the world hear about it.
Reality TV shows are going TO FAR. Leave people in peace and stop incouraging more pointless money grabbing.
Ok, rant finished
