Hope someone can advise me.
It seems that my Sky Netgear router is very hot to the touch and I'm concerned about keeping it on for long periods.I know they do generally run quite warm but mine seems really hot compared to others.

Would to order a replacement from Sky-any ideas if they charge for this?

Cheers

Have you got it mounted vertically or horizontally? Ideally it should be vertical. Might be an idea to blow out any fluff that may be blocking the air vents.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Have it vertically and have tried blowing out the dust in the past as you suggest-have been monitoring it for a couple of weeks now and does seem overly hot

I recently got one of the new Wireless n routers as I have had ongoing problems with drop outs, I think they will replace it for free if you can convince them its dying, maybe report a burning smell??

Otherwise I think they charge around £30 for a new router.
