Bath shower mixer tap problem

So, we finally got our bathroom renovated in November, and everything was looking good, nice and clean, worked well - until yesterday.
We replaced the basin and bath taps for nice new, modern chromed (good make, not cheap), and the bath mixer worked like a dream, until yesterday, it refused to let more than half the flow through to the shower. This was not a gradual process over the last few weeks it suddenly happened.
The mixer tap is a double hole design fitting on the bath, with the hose connector underneath, and the pull up button on top.
Does anyone know how I can adjust this - is it a simple matter of taking the hose off, and then unscrewing the button?
Please help, because I want a nice high pressure shower in the next couple of days (weeks months:D:eek:) or my friends will start to get grumpy.

Hi, sometimes the hose kinks inside and reduces pressure. Try removing the hose from the mixer and test if same? Also try removing head, its just an elimination process.
