What do you need them for? When was the last time (if ever:eek::eek:) you went on a train?

About 4 years ago and in under 2 weeks time.

Last time - 4 people - Derby to Gatwick (via St Pancras) to fly to Sri Lanka
    £12.50 RETURN :j each - £50 all in :rotfl:

On Sept 10th 2012 - Derby to Heathrow (via St Pancras) to fly to Sri Lanka
    £18.80 EACH WAY :( .......

... (actually that's :D:) :j given that in total it works out well under half the price of taking the car & parking it for 23 days) ...

.... booked via RSH.com and then used (TWO) FREE £10 off e-vouchers (Telegraph offer from April 2012) since each journey was booked as a Single in each direction ... so a final figure of about £27.60 RETURN ... which makes it about ¼ price of taking the car AND A LOT LESS STRESSFUL  M1  M25:eek:

Holiday will start as soon as the train's doors close and it pulls away.

Smoked salmon with cream cheese croissants, a bottle of Champagne and strawberries & cream to follow  .....

.... with a couple more bottles of Champers in the suitcases to celebrate Silver wedding anniversary on 19th

    Huge congrats Bully :D xx

For those that are married did they suddenly get really nervous the few days before the wedding?

hi, we've been married 3 years this month and to be honest i was really excited and stressed before the wedding (due to hair disaster by hairdresser, then having to pay a fortune to fix it at a fancy salon - thanks mum and dad:)) plus we were going to gretna so had to make sure we didn't forget anything. once we got there the day before i relaxed and had fun. (apart from a mad dash to the registrars office about a minute before it closed to collect the m10 forms or the marriage wouldn't have been legal ). i only realised how nervous i was just before walking won the ailse holding my dads arm and hand as i was shaking like a leaf and crying with happiness and hubby was too, awwh. good luck for your big day and take time to enjoy it and remember it, it goes so fast xx
 married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-09:love:
