Have had the most unpleasant shop at T today.
Will make a complain later. They are changing T&C again on JTD voucher. Now they wanted to keep our receipts if we want to redeem our voucher:mad::mad:
Worse of all she was watching & waiting for my transaction to go thru' before she tell the cashier that she have to keep the receipts. And she keep saying : keep the receipts with the vouchers & give it to "cash handler later?"
Luckily I didn't have a lot :rotfl:only £1ish x 2 with 2 receipts but plenty of c/card money off. I make the C/S signed my receipts before I let her keep it. She wasn't happy when she asked me " what do you want me to write?" I said : well normally you people scribbled on my receipts with PRICE CHECKED so I want you to do the same too then I will complain about you to HQ!:DRIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

Just trying to catch up on all your chat since my long holiday in France and notice that a number of you are into the Olympics.
We managed to get 3 lots of cheap tickets for "retired" at £16 each. Went to Wimbledon on Tuesday and saw the long match on No 1 court which Tsonga eventually won. Really exciting - not even really spoilt by the 3 hour break for rain. Felt sorry for the Canadian he beat as the crowd was definitely favouring Tsonga.
Yesterday we had to catch the first train out at 6.00 am to go to Stratford for the opening morning of athletics. Super arena - the place was full - and what an atmosphere especially when Jess Innes and the other GB athletes were taking part.
There were so many people arriving at the site but absolutely no problems with security or admission - so much for being told to allow 2 hours to get in. The volunteers are marvellous - helpful and smiling and chatty. Loads of children there - hope it inspires them for the future. The morning just flew past - everything was run so slickly - well done us.
Looking forward to next week when we have more athletics tickets even if it is another 6.00 train.0
