Sorry to hear about your dad idlesaver. I hope he will be ok. Thinking of youYou can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -
Morning Guys:)
Genmod good news about DS although still sounds very painful:( and hope you have a great 2 weeks while DH back home:j
Cant believe Murry beat Djokovich(SP) really thought he would loose that one and I missed it didn't realise they were on was watching mainly rowing & swimming  gutted as missing the athletics & they sound great so hope they hurry and finish the rowing and swimming then can concentrate on athletics :j Poor Becky Adlington she was distraught at only getting the bronze but what an amazing swim by the 15yr old USA girl when she went out so fast thought oh thats youth and inexperience she will tire but not the case so well done her and what a promising career ahead for her. So glad the crowd got behind Becky thou afterwards but think that made her more emotional and of course I weeped with her but she can be proud of her achievements. The USA team are smashing it in swimming but we smashing it in the cycling:D. Now need to make sure I know when the Murry final is really pray he can do it but think it going to be silver as it's Federer. I bet that going to be Sunday as we out all day:(.
PM glad to hear wedding plans seem to be on track now:j Just need to hope the medical side plays ball for the big day and lifts your spirits at the same time:A:A:A0 -

Up now....comp info for AH and anyone else that does not know..
If you enter by clicking on a link kindly provided by the comp poster and then when the page is open you click on Tools/Page Info, you will see the the referer is moneysavingexpert....but if you click on the link and drag it to open in a new tab then this does not happen( not sure if you can do this in IE but def can using Firefox).....Doc posted that she right clicks and then clicks open in a new tab...but this does not work for me using this Notebook as I have not got the Firefox add-on that hides referers, so maybe you ought to experiment first to see if it hides the Referring URL for you....all I can say is that it works for me, I also do believe I am very lucky, but this must also help quite a lot as comp sites are not informed that you entered via a competition site.....hth0 -

Thanks Bully:A
Haven't seen any of the archery but this is exactly the story and persistance that makes the Olympics so special and why when any athlete reaches that Podium it is so emotional all that training for that ultimate moment in time. I saw the clip of the GB man i think in clay shooting and how he just collapsed to the ground in disbelief it must inspire youngsters just got to be good for sport not just here but in other nations. He only took up that event through an injury that finished him competing in other sports. I have to go out to do the T's luggage deal hopefully when post turns up from Blue;) but torn between leaving and missing the events.0 -
Good morning all - today's lesson for AH & others
Follow up to what Aunty Bully posted :
The wrong way : For example
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4101925
If you click the word "daily Mail" linky - it will straight away open up a new tab for you.
Now go to : "Tools" (on the very top bar)
Click : "page info"
Look at the "Referring URL" its states this: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4101925
Above is a no no:eek:
The right way, Bully's way :
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4101925
If you hold down your left click using your mouse on the word "daily Mail" and drag (you will see the word "daily Mail" moves)
Keep dragging it till you reach the bar on top (see below example where it shows the arrow pointed to new tab) & release your "hold" next to the existing bar that already opened (for example below "Lirent's Hack" is "moneysavingexpert.com, etc )
Now go to : "Tools" (on the very top bar)
Click : "page info"
There you will see that there's no referral link connected to the bar.
Use Bully's way its more effective, whereby mine like Bully said its not 100% non-referral proof:A.
try it AH or anyone else then let us know if you understand what we are trying to show you.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0
