Had my hand in and out of a bowl of ice cubes and it has reduced the swelling slightly and frozen the blisters....although my finger is ice cold when I dry it, it gets really warm after a few mins and glows bright red....but it is def on the mend as it is not hurting as much.....
Grandkids are on the mend too, sitting out in the garden getting some sun and have got great appetites but it is little sore when they chew food, seems to pull the neck muscles.....have a pic I will send you Blue, in fact have got 2 of granddaughter....first one Friday before the op ready for the school prom and the 2 nd post op ....check your emails....

Morning all. Will try and catch up later. Just got emergency appointment at osteopath at 9.45 as done something to my back this morning when changing the bed! Now can't move, can't bend down or to the side, struggling to even sit down. :( I am not a person to suffer with back problems, so no idea what has happened.
Thought I was having a good day as up early and loads of housework done, :jas I thought, before it gets too warm, but no sunshine here at all today. :( Now me thinks I should have stayed in bed.

How did your appointment go? No sunshine here today but it has been hot.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I would visit the docs tomorrow Bully as it doesn't sound good still.
Pics would be lovely, looking forward to seeing them. I'm pleased they are feeling ok ish. How long before they know if the op has worked or do they know now?

Lying so and so's I checked and the nescafe is definately £1.49 in Tesco in store and on Mysuper.

I am really annoyed, feel robbed.

    CWxx

On the contrary - ASDA have nothing to do with it.

MySM do all the APG comparisons - it's THEIR DATA that produces the results - despite what is displayed on the "front-end" when you compare prices etc.
I'm guessing 2 databases are not identical like they should be

Bully I've just received the pics. Your GD looks like she has grown up a lot since I met her at the GFS. She looks beautiful in her dress.

It looks like she will not have much of a scar when it heals, which will be hidden by her hair. Isn't it amazing what can be done and how.

All the elctrodes were connected , so now it is back in 4 weeks to make sure all is still well, and then the hard work starts with speech therapists....will be years of learning how to interpret the noises they get into recognisable words and of course getting the sounds in stereo after 13 years of sounds being transmitted to the brain on one side only..Have been with them a few times for the set-up bit and it is really hard work, sitting in a soundproofed room with headphones on with sounds being generated by tehnicians using a computer in another room , behind a huge window, twiddling knobs and pressing buttons and registering their reactions to the frequency etc for hours on end ...granddaughter had 1st op when she was 3yrs old and grandson was 7yrs old,,, both on same day just like last week....how my daughter has coped with both kids having major ops on same day , twice overstill amazes me....

AH – Haven’t sorted anything yet for mum re the door as been sorting other things at the moment. We have managed to buy quite a few things from RNIB, and are slowly working our way through them one at a time so as not to confuse her too much and make her feel she can’t cope. The door security is next on the list! Have used the Viakal coupons but thanks for pointing the offer out.
DWW – not heard anything about the dog food yet?
Jeferey – hope the aunts are doing OK. One more day at work for you then off for ages! Lucky you.
FV – how is your DD? Hope you are both doing OK
CL & Aesop – hope your work issues have improved. Really feel for you, sending (((hugs)))
BS – your fingers sound really sore. It sounds so frustrating so you have my sympathy.

Need to pop out for an hour or so, hopefully catch up later with the rest of the posts

Doc you will only get £10 if buy 10 but should be £10.90 whereas you get 9 you will get £9.81 back but your spend will only be £18.81 so would need to find something else to make up to £20 as need to spend £20 maybe bread or something
