    :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::o:o:o :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

Got a club carlson letter informing us we are now Elite Silver Status this morning mainly thanks to Aesop and M4RKM for their links and advice for our NY trip.:j:j:j I remembered we had an email few days back with some summer offers from club carlson for members, so gave it a browse noticed one for free breaky deal so spent hours looking for different options. As clicked on link the breakfast price came at top and was a good £30+ on room only costs so went ahead and booked rm only for a Sun night in Leeds in August for Park Plaza for Advance saver Exec rm shld get 15000 extra points for the stay also + silver bonus points and 2000 extra for bkg online:j. Thinking this was the best deal:doh::doh::doh: only after reading through the email again realised you had to put a Promo CODE in for breakfast deal. I had completely forgotten thats what I had been looking for to start with and only remembered when reading the email and can't cancel now:mad:. So could have had the above deal with the points but also with free breakfast:(:(:(. Tempted to book the 2nd night was dithering about making it a 2 night break but was worried about additional cost so as would get the same bonus points just for 1 night went with that don't think we will get the 15000 pts on a 2nd bkg as think it 1 use only promo I think, but atleast will get the free breaky on 2nd night but not very MSE afraid sometimes I get very frustrated at my slow brain these days:(

Did joke with DH if we build up enough points we might be able to get free flights with T's Avios miles and free accomodation at the same hotel in NY where we stayed now that would be great:D:D:D

And also forgot to add they currently doing a deal where you can save 50% on redemption points which is also a great deal. So will look out and build up points hoping they will do a similar promo where might be able to afford a posh hotel abroad:D:D:D

Febreze Set & Refresh Thai Orchid Unit

    £5 in T's £2 in A's

Buy in T's as part of a jtd shop. Use 1 of each of the £1 off febreeze coupons and they would work out free.

If T's accept the 2 coupons.
    Coupon idea thanks to RootedNomad.

Morning all just a quick post am in hospital waiting on my DD3 coming out of theatre after having reconstructive surgery on her mouth. She fell at school yesterday onto a wooden bollard (about 1 1/2metres high) and is in a bad way.

Am so upset (and angry :( ) will try to get on later.....

Hope she is OK. Sending hugs your way.

on a different note - have read lots about the wonders of moroccan oil for your hair. hairdressers try and flog you it even if you glance in their windows...
has anyone here actually tried it? Just wondering if you have is it as good as it is depicted? thanks in advance x

    Hi MAG
I have used it - it does give a lovely shine to your hair, but not convinced that it is worth the money. I only bought a very small bottle which did last a long time though.

I am another one that loves to read your posts about Chloe. You are just so descriptive. :A:A

On another note, I managed to find a couple of the Tesco books with cellophane on today, but can't find what the vouchers are best used for - can anyone point me in the right direction to a thread please?

MM - sending condolences. You were a name I remember when I first came onto coupon thread. My heart goes out to you and your family.

You could try Lenor Fabric Conditioner Concentrate Spring Awakening - 42 Washes (1.4L). On offer at £2. Use lenor voucher and get it for £1

Also look a few posts ago for my post about Febreze

Beware if your doing your shopping at Asda as there is something wrong with the APG. My receipt has come up with I haven't bought 8 items when I have bought 9, well 10 but I took the wrong ink back.

    I bought

    Cartridge Barcode ending in 98
Ginger Cake Barcode ending in 81
    Nappies Barcode ending in 15
    Biscuits Barcode ending in 33
Garlic Puree Barcode ending in 301
Food to go Barcode ending in16
    Mcvities Barcode ending in 32
    Potatoes Barcode ending in 77
    Haircare Barcode ending in 54
    Bananas Barcode ending in 22K

I have no idea which of the above it is not recognising, but obv 2 or 3 items are not counting. Quoia, any idea what is going wrong?

By my reckoning I should have got at least £5 back:(
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
