    morning all

FV hope your little one recovers completely and quickly what a terrible way to start the summer hols. my thoughts and prayers are with you all

PM good luck for monday hope all goes well.

MAD so sorry to hear your news, i remember you from old moc thread (used to lurk more than anything in those days) hope you and all your family pull together and get thru this.

Well sun is shining here just about but keeps hiding at least no rain. been out and had my dd1 ears pieced this morning for the start of the hols, and she was so brave didnt make a sound or even flinch i was so proud and she now has sparkly twinkly red studs to show off. she then helped me in asda (was opposite side of the road so we had too :) ) and got some mullers while the glitch is on thekids love these and with the kids at home will be nice for them to have nice branded yogs to eat.

must get a little ebaying done this weekend got a few bits to clear out again relisting is easy its just putting on the new stuff that takes time but it will help raise a few funds for the hols. much needed as we are having to replace some of our windows in a few weeks as the units are all gone dodgy and broken down so not looking forward to paying for that.

    enjoy the sun today guys

  • Blue, Just read your post and your kind praise for how I write about Chloe. I truly hope somehow, through those words some of you with your own grief will find some small comfort that helps you in your own journeys.

Well, you know, in a nutshell, this whole time its been a sink or swim situation. I have swum for my life (as good as any olympian, lol) thats true and some days struggle to stay afloat but positive, and inspiring thoughts about Chloe keep me doggy paddling pretty much 24 hours a day. If I give in to less, its game over, I have found to my cost. Im not in denial but a village nearby... lol and I have found it to be a comfy place to be. Grief experts would say otherwise, but it has taken me almost 3 years to be in a place where I don't crumble to my knees at the mention of her name or drown in a tsunami of tears that, somewhat like the endless rain many of us have endured lately, seem to go on forever.

I know you all encourage me to write about Chloe on here, and it is like a warm scarf on a frosty morning to me that so many of you across the UK now know a little bit about my Chloe in even a small way which helps me keep her memory fresh and alive in my heart.

This is not a post to make anyone sad, its to say thanks for helping me set her free...
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x

Blue we were up your way Wed & Thurs stayed in TL in York the Picadilly one we weren't impressed at all and it wasn't cheap either paid £45.95. (which suppose cheap for area but not for a TL). DS3 school had their summer fete as starting early decided to stay night before. We arrived about 20mins before checking in time and although the receptionist said our room was ready as we hadn't paid £10 extra to check in early we were not allowed to have our room:mad: so we sat by 2 seats near reception stating quite loudly how absurd it was for room to be ready and us waiting with bags as had extra suitcases we were bringing for DS3 to pack all his stuff and that in the past if room was ready they were always happy to let you in eventually after 5min receptionist came out and said we could book in:D;). Well the room, no remote for telly when DH asked for this he was handed one at reception that was all covered in brown tape to hold the batteries in:eek:, no extra pillows available you know how flat they are but we have never had a problem getting spare before, couldn't turn tap in bathroom on or off ok I got weak hands but even DH had difficulty and only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel couldn't even be bothered asking for more of these and the shower was pathetic. On the plus side there was a weatherspoons next door where we went for breaky had the eggs benedict with orange juice was lovely and only £3.99. Definately wouldn't be keen on staying here again I know there is another TL nearer the station as we passed before not sure what that might be like

And just to let you know you were getting much better weather than the south them 2 days:D:D:D;) . As it was hammering it down when we left home and we arrived to beautiful sunshine in york :j infact we joked we might get sunburnt:rotfl: . Thurs was not quite as nice but still some good blue skies and sunshine when we got home the horrible grey sky and heavy heavy rain we met yet thought the weather forcast at begining of week was the opposite way round :rotfl:am glad as had a lovely day at DS3's school he loved the teacher dunking machine:D:D:D

Some inspirational posts MAGS again, and you just have such a wonderful way of giving comfort maybe it's because of what you have gone though in your grief gives you that added insight but your written talents must have always been there. I just love to read your posts:A
