    An UNCLE'S Playground :D

Decided to try it Saturday afternoon

I've got 3 Sainsburys at about 1 mile, 3 miles and 5 miles distance

At the nearest I got out of the car and in the next parking bay, there were 2 coupons in a trolley for ANDREX ECO - promoting https://www.getbamboozling.com - 50p off 4 packs - NOT actually valid yet - 25th July to 24th August

Saw other trolleys had more - thought that they might just come in handy sometime in the next few weeks so decided to collect a few more.
    5 minutes later I had about 50 :D ...
... and on route picked up a Brand Match voucher for 1p
    ... then one for 5p
    ... and then one for £1 :):j

went in store - found the booklets and the coupons - and the  Bavaria :j:j - sadly only 5 on the shelf :(
Found the  beer man and he checked in the back - came out with a shrink wrapped pack of 6 x 4 bottles - grabbed a 7th and set off for the till.
I used a Self Scan - obviously would need help from an SA - a young man early twenties, who was SOOOOO HELPFUL :D :rotfl:
He scanned the loose pack and entered a quantity of 7

I scanned the 1st coupon - NO PROBLEM - popped it in the slot
2nd came up with something like "Coupon quantity exceeded"
So SA did an override - He said "How Many?"
I said "7 altogether - I've bought 7 packs" and gave him the 6 remaining vouchers.
He did a single coupon redemption of £10.50 :rotfl: (making 8 in total)
Then I did the 3 BM vouchers (£1.06)
Total to pay £7.94 - on the old 1% cash back credit card
Nectar card swiped 42 points earned + 1 for bag re-use.

£10 BM voucher shoots out FOLLOWED by ....

... 400 Nectar Points on next £20 shop :D :rotfl:

Loaded car up - cut out another 7 coupons
Sadly beer man couldn't find any more and didn't want to risk messing up the BM by taking just the 4 left and making up £20 with other items so left it. Tried the "3 mile" store - sadly same story there - just 4 on the shelf and none in the back - however did find a 32p BM as soon as I got out of the car. :)

SO, SUNDAY MORNING - the 3rd store - since I was going that way anyway.
A quick walk round the trolley bay ...
    ... a £2 OFF a £20 SPEND :rotfl:
    ... a £4 OFF a £40 SPEND (which I gave to a woman with a full trolley at a checkout)
Various points offers - non really applicable :(
Loads of codes to win tickets for the Paralympics

and then just as I was entering the store's main entrance, a gust of wind blew 2 bits of paper right to my feet - another Paralympic Tickets code ...

    AND a BM voucher for £3.58 :D :j :rotfl: :j :D

Yes they had the  beer - just 8 packs - 1 after I'd left

I was just going to the till when fortunately I had a "EUREKA" moment
IF I used the wombled £2 OFF £20, then 7 x £1.50 - my £10 BM from Saturday would be MORE  than the £8.50 left to pay (and obviously I would have to save my newly found £3.58 and yesterday's 32p for another time)

I wondered if it would give me change ? (Asda doesn't on an APG "overspend" at ANY till - although CS desk can do it)

Went to CS to find a BM leaflet to read the T&Cs and another helpful young man enquired as to the issue - I asked "What happens if the bill is only £5 and I use a BM voucher for £6 ? Do I get any change?

He says "I CAN CASH IT HERE FOR YOU" :rotfl:
So I give him my £10 BM from Saturday and he hands me two £5 notes :rotfl: :rotfl:

So over to a self service till again - another young man decided to help again - he put all 7 beers though in one go,
I then did the 400 points on £20
    followed by the £2 OFF a £20
then the SA did all 7 coupons in a £10.50 "lump"

I then did the 32p and £3.58 BMs

Total to pay £4.60 :rotfl: (on the old 1% CC again)
42 more Nectar points and 2 for bag re-use :D

And the £10 BM pops out as expected

    SO ..............

My credit card has gone up £12.54 (of which they owe me 1% - 12p ;))

    BUT
I've got 56 bottles of
I've got a £10 BM voucher to spend
    £10 CASH in my pocket
and 487 Nectar points (£2.43) to the good

Which I think makes me 56 bottles AND £10.01 :rotfl: UP ON THE DEAL :rotfl:

    FV ... I think I've PARTAKED, PARTAKEN, PARTOOK :D
