Been directed to this thread from the Tesco elite thread because of the Asda APG glitch. I have found something similar with the Muller offer (10 for £4 in Asda, 10 for £3 in Tesco) but I don't know how it's happened. It didn't work very well yesterday as it reckons I should have paid £6.40 in Tesco but the offer is still valid. The glitch is that it's using the full price or certainly higher than the offer price for the comparison. The pots should compare at 40p in Asda and 30p in Tesco but the APG was using 50p, 55p and sometimes 60p against the Tesco offer price.

If you'd bought 12 strawberry rice for example, the net cost if you take the APG into account was 7p per pot:

Actual price - Tesco price - 10% guarantee
    40p - 30p - 3p
    ...............................

Sorry this is a bit confusing and some of it doesn't quite make sense :(

Firstly the 7p per pot ........... should be 27p ?????

    40p in Asda but 30p in Tesco means a 10p refund + 3p (10% of 30p)
    40p - 13p = 27p

OR are you saying that it DOES take OFF the FULL 30p T price ?

Secondly MySM.com currently has the A offer as SIX for £3 and NOT 10 for £4 - presumably this 10 offer ended yesterday ?????

Regards the 50p, 55p & 60p comparison on the APG - was that for the Asda prices or the Tesco prices ???
... and WHAT exactly did you buy that "it reckons I should have paid £6.40 in Tesco" ... only you don't specify HOW MANY items (or which) you bought.

And finally but following on from the last point (and referring back to the 7p per pot "example") ... "If you'd bought 12 strawberry rice for example" ...

IF the offer was 10 for £4 in A and 10 for £3 in T, WHY would you buy 12 ??? and furthermore the APG "CUT OFF" for comparison is TEN

10 cans, 10 bottles, 10 packets OR (for loose weighed produce) 10 KILOGRAMS of the SAME product ....

...SO IF you had bought 12 - TWO of them would have been EXCLUDED from the APG .... AND NOT part of the "10 for £x" offer at BOTH supermarkets (UNLESS, for example, you'd bought 8 Raspberry rice pots as well making 20 in total - ie. 2 of the offers)

    Perhaps you can clarify :)

Yes it should be 27p if APG was working correctly but it hasn't been and it's in our favour.

    40p in Asda but 30p in Tesco means a 10p refund + 3p (10% of 30p)
    40p - 13p = 27p
That how it should work out, yes

OR are you saying that it DOES take OFF the FULL 30p T price ?
No I'm saying that when it comes to the comparison page, Asda are using the full price of the yogurts for them and comparing against the offer price in Tesco.

Secondly MySM.com currently has the A offer as SIX for £3 and NOT 10 for £4 - presumably this 10 offer ended yesterday ?????
No, MSM doesn't show the offer but the offer is in store and comes off correctly if you buy only 10 per transaction (if you buy 20, computer says no). MSM had only ever shown the 6 for £3 offer all week.

50p, 55p and 60p refer to the price Asda reckons it charged you for the rice/yogurts. Some flavours like strawberry rice compare at 60p Asda/30p Tesco whereas the original rice compared at 50p/30p.

I bought the same flavours of rice/yogurts I've been buying the last few days but if you want specifics then:

    Sunday 01/07
    4 x Muller Rice Apple (190g) £2.20 £2.56
    2 x Muller Rice Strawberry (190g) £1.20 £1.28
    1 x Muller Rice Original (190g) £0.50 £0.64
    2 x Muller Light Raspberry & Cranberry Yogurt Fat Free... £1.00 £1.28
    1 x Muller Fruit Corner Peach & Apricot (150g) £0.50 £0.64

Previously the prices have looked like this:

    3 x Muller Rice Apple (190g) £1.50 £0.90
    4 x Muller Rice Strawberry (190g) £2.40 £1.20
    1 x Muller Rice Original (190g) £0.50 £0.30
1 x Muller Corner Chocolate Digestive Crunch Corner £0.50 £0.30
    1 x Muller Fruit Corner Peach & Apricot (150g) £0.50 £0.30

And finally but following on from the last point (and referring back to the 7p per pot "example") ... "If you'd bought 12 strawberry rice for example" ...

IF the offer was 10 for £4 in A and 10 for £3 in T, WHY would you buy 12 ??? and furthermore the APG "CUT OFF" for comparison is TEN

    Perhaps you can clarify :)

Sorry a typo in my post. It should have said 10, not 12.

So you can see from the first comparison that if you'd bought 10 of the strawberry rice that compare at 60p/30p, that's how you get a net cost of 7p.

    Hope that clarifies :o

Thanks you guys for your good wishes :A:A:A

Atleast she hasn't the septicamia form as no rash or anything so that's to be thankful for, and they going to be very vigilant. Looks like they got to the hospital in good time and that makes a big diference. She's so tiny though :(
