Hey all, been a bit poorly past few days (though still managed fab time at Thorpe Park on Wed and perfect weather too :D)

PM - great news about the wedding, I know how much it all means to you xx

AH - holiday sounds fab, I'm deff pining for NY now

Rubbish news about Tacto, i'll be going there even less from now on - and I generally only go there for bread or wombles anyway since they stopped accepting competitor coupons.

Still catching up on news after an evening offline (see, I was REALLY ill :rotfl:) x

    Hry Kerri,

Sorry you are ill but glad you had a good time, would you reccommend theme parks?

I am petrified of those rides but feel bad that my children have not been and feel like a bad mummy not taking them :(

Can't wait for things to progress now PM - so exciting :j:j

    Where is everyone?

Blue is back, time to get the drinks in farmville:beer:

I have kinda been keeping up but my dongle kept cutting me off and I cannot sign into mse on my mobile as it won't let me try more than one capital letter after another when trying to sign in:(

I've read all about the JTD and just been checking my emails and the ones I used for recent JTD's have got new emails in them from Tesco with repeated price check vouchers with 28 days on them from today and it says price promise in the corner, very strange:( From what I have gathered about it, seems like it is now a waste of time and I'll be better off doing my shopping at Asda. The only time I'll go to Tesco when I have used my current vouchers (not the ones from emails, ones not used) is to use Tesco specific coupons, for glitches or for an item which is on offer at Asda but oos in stores. Asda price check is less hassle and obv I'll get the 10% cheaper;)

Now time to go back and check properly what you have all been up to. Alton Towers was fab and megga thanks AH for the advice about going on the skyride to rides:beer:

Thanks MT for the emails esp the Tassimo one. I'm looking through my emails to see if I have got any from them as I bought a paper the other day with £5 off £40 at morrisons so trying to see if can use that with a few tassimo coupons and get some cheaper coffee.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I did one previously and it really wasn't worth the hassle - keeping a note of food for everyone listed in your household plus I think it was all the usual carp of when you ate, where you ate blah blah. Got invited for a second one and declined.

Me off to Thorpe Park tomorrow so fingers crossed for decent weather there too - belated b'day present from my bro, can't wait :j

Big hugs PM - you're being so brave, esp when you've been through so much already. xx

Thanks for the details about the dairy, think I'll give it a miss.

I hope you had as good a time at Thorpe Park as I had at Alton Towers. It's very tiring though all that fresh air and walking:eek::eek:

I know this is not directed at me, but to get a few prizes per month I tend to enter about 100/day. Basically thoguh the more you enter, the more chance. Tis a numbers game really :) Good luck.

Just wondering if anyone here can answer. I had 3x £30 clubcard vouchers mailed to me. If I hand one over in Tesco for say... a £10 shop, what happens? Do I lose the unspent £20?

I wish they'd sent them in £2 denominations or something more useful... as I never spend all that much in there at one time. And yes I realise the obvious thing to do would be to stock up on things, but I don't really have the space to store things!

    Hi CompletelyLost

Wow a 100 a day... that must take up a LOT of your time.

If you go to a young guy you prob will be able to get a gift vch. If not, then what about phone vch?

You can use the Jamaican ginger moc to buy two of the packs of cake bars which are £1.50 each plus use a £1 off cakes price flop to get £1 off the rest of your shopping and get 50p each pack back on JTD as they are 2 for £2 at asda.

The cherry bake well moc was a comp they ran half term week you got to click on cakes every hour til you won a free pack that has finished now tho.

    Hi chattmum

Ye, I will get the ginger cake. That's good for use of vchs.

    Thanks
