BIG BIG CHANGE ON JTD AND PRICE CHECKER

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=53787743&postcount=967

I know a few of you use this and there has been a lot of chat on the 11+ thread this afternoon seem tosco finally reining it in.

Basic of it are now capped at £10 per voucher and you have to buy at least 8 items ike asda now and somehow they are going to link it up with clubcard which could kill it off for wombling i guess
    thanks CM
    heres link to terms
    https://www.tescopricepromise.com/Pricepromise/pages/tsandcs.aspx

seems to be a mix of Asda & sainsburys with a small bit of there own

do T's not want peoples business, they seems to get worse & worse
and if they can change terms surely they can check reciepts quicker like asda

    Very True MT.............

OMG....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:T's have become worst of all.......I would say even S's are better than that. At least we get instant voucher and A's are the best at the moment...BUT.....BUT.......................No A's near me....:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

    Asda is better wombling wise

One day I managed to womble 66 tesco receipts and got £10.15. I wombled just 6 Asda receipts and got back £10.00

The tesco price check is always running into problems and there is a lot of waiting involved. Asda is always consistent - next day check your receipt and print your money:D

so true, once upon a time S's was the dearer store
but when i started price checking each week for shopping list
i've found many times that S's beat T's for price on many things now, waitrose aren't far off on occasions either on a small number of items

Plenty in my stores you can get it next to : giftcards/conveyor belt shelve, customer service desk. I think I better go get stack of it:D just in case:cool:

Actually 8 items can be easily done too. Just need to adjust our spreadsheet.

    1) 1 can of pop (T) 40p (A) 38p
    2) 1 haribo T & S 10p
    3) 1 x7pack hula hoops (T) £1.67 (A) £1
    4) 1 plain flour McD (T) £1.50 (A) £1
    5) Loreal stuff - use coupons xx amount compared
    6) JTD shop
    7) JTD shop
    8)JTD shop
    9) tv times 50p

to be on the safe side buy 9 items - very easy to make up to £10 capped. Just have to do 2 lots to get £20

Will look a bit harder when I go tomorrow thanks :)
