What are you doing on here instead of shopping? (not that your not welcome:p:D) What time is it in Boston and where is everyone else?

MY OH has got an urgent job to go to so we aren't leaving till late this aft, but it isn't a problem as the weather is carp and we weren't planning to go to AT till tomorrow anyways.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Blue is it your first time at AT if so use the skyride as much as you can from sections as it very hilly and tiring by end of the day;) lot more spread out than say Thorpe Park. Have a great time when you get there:beer:

    hi PM

sorry to hear you didn't get the news you needed today, deff. a hard one to sort
but as i said before and agreeing with BW
could you really face getting married without your mum being there.
personally i'd forget the big wedding and just keep it small. its the feelings & love of the day that count & what you want/need, not how big the event & cost it involves.
i'm sure friends & family would more than understand in the circumstances

but then again we can say what we like, as its easy because we're not actually involved.
must be so hard, perhaps now you know next ops so far off OH may listen , why not try again
please vent hear as much as you need:)

apoligises for sticking nose in, just wish we could be more help

Afternoon all, well done CM DS.

Back from seeing the surgeon, not the best of news, looks like the op will be atleast a year away now, so no wedding for approx 18-24 months now, I don't know if my mum will still be around then :( Wish there was some way to work this all out :(

    Thanks MT

The wedding was going to be on the cheap anyway, nothing to fancy and my poor oh has never known so much happen in one persons life than mine.

Just want my mum to be there on the day with me, my dad isn't round and my stpe mum took her own life and have no grandparents. Life is very short :(

    hi PM
certainly sounds like you've had alot to deal with, can't imagine how hard thats been

but what comes across very clear in your posts it that you want/need your mum there on your big day not matter what.

and i think it won't feel right for you if shes not. it'd be a sadness that would over shadow what is suppose to be the best day of your life.

look at me off again:o, sorry

    Life is indeed to short

I went to Alton Towers about 15+ years ago, so yep my first time really. Thanks for the tip about the skyride, anymore tips? I know you can buy some cup thingy and get it refilled as much as you can with soft drinks, shame it's not free coffee refills.
