It looks like it's by invitation. I don't send the receipts either, too much work for 50p and anyways I don't like them seeing how much I pay or if it's a good coupon day how little:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Yep exactly, too much work lol. Must admit, did not scan my Asda shop when I had a (small) trolley full of jars for 20/30/40p - would only mess up their systems, wouldn't it?

Guide book says they knock things down from $800 staggered every 7 days to $50 by 28days which then goes to charity sounded fab
Sorry AH, just googled it, had no idea Filenes was closed. Yes their discounting was amazing, on a good day you could get a real bargain. They would have a bridal sale once a year with fantastic designer gowns at crazy prices. I lived near Boston for a couple of years but this was more than 15yrs ago

All your designer talk is like a different language to me:o:o I bet they don't have my favourite designer in NY/America, but you can always look out for it I suppose;) It's called

I may be being a bit thick or have missed some posts PM, but why can't you get married before the op? If your wanting your mum present then surely it doesn't matter if it is a cheap wedding as long as she is there? I'm sure there is a thread somewhere on mse about how to do a wedding on the cheap.

Blue we lost a lot of money on deposits and cancelled everything for the surgery. My oh doesn't want to rush things again and as we had to terll everyone it was off oh thinks its a right mess up, which it is. My mum is all the family I have now and she would love to see me married. She's been ill since I was a kid and is getting a lot worse
time really isn't on our side.

Ermmmm maybe out of line:o:o but I would say to OH we either get married now (in the next few months) or not at all, but that's me;);) There is a lot of threads on mse how to do a wedding on the cheap. You could always say lets get married now on the cheap and when we reach 10 years or something like we will have a big white church blessing?Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I'm researching a holiday too....want to use £200 of T's rewards vouchers ( worth £600 )towards a Cosmos holiday, prob in December to the Canaries or somewhere else with guaranteed sun....the Cosmos/Tesco Rewards site has the hols at exactly the same price as the main Cosmos site now( used to be more expensive which negated the value using the vouchers, unless you got a completely free holiday using them, which I did once before they changed the rules)...working out which airport to fly from that has flights at sensible times, then comparing with Thomson just to make sure I get the best deal....prefer B&B as we like to eat out but it seems HB or AI are the main offerings, as we only want 5* maybe HB would be OK...won't pay for AI as we don't drink and I think that is prob only good value if you do like local alcoholic drinks and wine with meals...also checking out the hotels on Trip Advisor, reading all the reviews takes ages......watched Nadal win the Fench Open , now watching the highlights of the Canadian Grand Prix....fishing tomorrow ..done my ironing but housework on the back burner .
This is good to hear Bully about the pricing, we have booked many a good holiday with Tesco rewards over the years great when the family were younger and couldn't afford a hol otherwise :T:T:T Think our best one was 14 nights at El Paso at Port Aventura in Salou with Cosmos it was HB and included entry to the theme park and water park everyday and also fast pass with your rm key it was absoloutly fantastic would have cost £1600 paid £400 in total for 3 of us.0 -
