Morning Everyone!

Had a lovely day yesterday. Invited to an engagement party BBQ. Lovely garden - lots of old apple trees to sit in the shade under and a swimming pool for the kids. They stayed in it ALL day - had to drag them out for 10 minutes to eat! So lucky for them as when date was set the weather was was sooooooooooo cold.

Back to my ebay case : The buyer was not willing to destroy the discs & he said he can play them on PS1 using an additional lead and was willing split the cost down to £4 refund. Sometime I think those buyers are pulling a fast one:mad:. Anyway, I refunded him as I can't be bothered to go back & forth with him. I sold another lot of discs Final fantasy (total 12 discs & this buyer is happy with them) the same time with no probs.

Glad you got it all sorted in the end doc. Sounds like the goys a bit of a twonk to me. Hope you got a good price for your final fantasy games as some are rare now and worth good money

Dr WW - unfortunately ebay is full of idiots, time wasters, crooks, and pain in the backsiders. But we have to put up with them as there are also some nice, kind, generous ebayers as well.

Sorry Dr W W - missed your post getting ready for BBQ
Had some lovely tuna skewers, we had a few pork ribs plus the usual stuff including some jerk chicken drumsticks (lovely!).
I have one sweetcorn left in the freezer from the allotment - not sure about the salt thing though
Picked eldest daughter up from her new weekend job and she drove back with 'L' plates on, called in to my parents and picked up newer BBQ (old one nearly had it - donated for free, excellent!).
I will drop kids off at school tomorrow and go to allotment - may need a bit of water , I'm going to enjoy next week - holiday yeah!

What a lovely weekend its been, topped off with a BBQ:D

Back to work tom as had all of last week off.

Just seen a post on the JTD thread that made me smile, seems someones loft/attic maybe becoming empty..:rotfl:regulars may remember them and aspire to having such a neat loft;)
