Doc about eBay really easy to sort.

I used to wheel and deal a little in games on EBay espesh ninty and ps1.

First did you sell them in the cases or just discs?

Did you have a photo on your listing?

Did you buy them new or eBay etc?

Ps1 games will play in all playstations ps1 2 and 3 but only if compatible regions.

Let me know the answer to the above and I'll tell you what to look for to prove if you did right.

First did you sell them in the cases or just discs? Just Discs.

Did you buy them new or eBay etc? None it was given to us so don't know where it come from:o but I do know it was not from ebay.;)

Ps1 games will play in all playstations ps1 2 and 3 but only if compatible regions. Now I think this could be it! if its like DVD's then it could be can only play for so & so region but like said I haven't a clue where to look for.

I have decided to refund the buyer £5.55 thats how much I sold them for excluding £3 postage.

Since he replied back saying :
you also listed them as pal(uk) games and they are not.... (my mistake I guess:D)

    Postage cost me £3.15:mad: anyway,

Do I pay the buyer £8.55 or just £5.55?

I have emailed him & told him to send it back to me & I'll refund £5.55 did I do the right thing?

Just email the buyer again, I told him to destroy all the discs & proof it to me that they are destroyed by sending me photo(s) then I'll pay him back £5.55 I think that should suffice. Right?

Or is he going to chase me for the £3 postage too? That I am not willing to give back.

To be honest you will need to return the postage as well, that's what I think. But the more experienced eBay seller can prove me wrong..:o

Your right IS she needs to refund the postage as well unless she wants a negative against her. Doc IF you want to sell on ebay again succesfully then you not only need to refund the buyer the full dosh they paid including postage you need to grovel a bit:eek::eek::eek: You are the one who is in the wrong as I guess your games are from a foreign country and won't work on some English stuff like you said they would so if you don't want a negative and bad feedback you have to say sorry, here's a full refund including postage and IF you want them back you also have to pay for the return postage.:( If you have no dosh in paypal then you have to put the amount you need for the refund in from your bank and explain to the buyer it will take a few days because your doing this (apologise for delay again:eek::eek:). Paypal are gonna side with the buyer so your gonna have to refund in full, it's just whether you want it to effect future selling or not. You would want a full refund including postage if you bought something which didn't work yes?
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
