Quoia - sorry you lost Soots yesterday. Cats can give you so much love that you can't help but love them back.
At least she is out of pain now in cat heaven.

Saw newspapers preview on TV last night and there is a £5 off £25 spend in M&S on food, wine and flowers.
They also have 25% off when you buy 6 bottles of wine/champagne so could be useful for some.
Wish we had some of the nice weather you all seem to have. We are shrouded by a mist again, same as yesterday. Washing on line all day yesterday and still didn't dry .0 -
Morning all Got a stinking cold and my throats killing. Hope everyone enjoys the sun

AH - glad you are feeling a bit better. Not much changed yet with dad. He is still at home, although very weak and frail. Hoping to get him to come over later with mum for tea and stay over, but so far haven't been able to get him out of the house, even for a drive in the car. He just feels too weak.
Still waiting for SS to come out although they do have meals on wheels. Got a private carer in for teatime to make them a sandwich, but she was coming about 6.30 - 7pm which is far too late even though she was supposed to come between 4 - 5pm. Mum and dad get their lunch at 11.30 and as they are both diabetic, it is too long to wait until carer came so they managed to get themselves a sandwich. My main concern is if dad is unable to get out of bed, then we are back to square one.
Why can't people just do what they promise and not mess us about. Wouldn't have bothered with the private carer if she should have said she couldn't come earlier. Dad now cancelled her as he said no point in paying for a service that is no use!
Definitely sounds like some sort of virus going around. Sounds like what DH had a couple of weeks ago, surprised I didn't catch it off him as was so run down. Hope those feeling poorly soon feel better. Sending hugs.0 -
Thinking of you SnD thanks for the hugs AH.
