    Can you believe it?

They sent my income tax return form back to me!

In response to question number 4,

    "Do you have any dependants?"

    I replied -

    2.1 million illegal immigrants,

    1.1 million crack heads,

    4.4 million unemployable people,

901 thousand people in over 85 prisons,

    and 650 idiots in Parliament.

Apparently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.

Who the hell did I miss?:D
RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)

    Hi Everyone! :)

Not been on much as had a grotty cold all last week. Think its finally on the wane!

Sainsbobs had 2 large packs of chicken wings whoopsied to 25p each on Saturday. Ummed and ahhhed but couldn't resist. We had them yesterday in a casserole but oh my goodness what a lot of bones! DH made me promise never to buy them again. Do any of you buy them and what do you do with them?

Picked up 2p roadkill right in the middle of a pedestrian crossing the other day. As bent down realised there was more. When safely on the other side realised there were 4 x 2p pieces all in the middle of the road in a dead straight line! Could I resist?? No! Took me 4 crossings to get it all! I'm sure someone must have placed them as they were in such a straight line! There's a pub right next to the crossing so maybe someone was watching to see who would pick them up!! :o

Have a good day. The Apprentice tonight :j

Hope you feel better soon BL

I saw a 5p right at the top of an escalator the other day. As people kept coming up the escalator there was no way I could get it. When I came out of the shop it was gone so someone nabbed it.:(

    Belated birthday greetings IS...
    :bdaycake:
Sorry I'm late, had a power cut yesterday at 1pm , power off until 6.30pm....so no internet for me.....4 weeks ago someone damaged our only post box which is just over the road,( had a 40 mins walk to post a letter the other day) The door lock got broken and they decided to replace the whole thing rather than put a new door on, so yesterday when they attempted to remove it by digging up the concrete plinth it was on they cut through the electrity cables underneath ......GREAT!Why was it put over electricity cabling?? Still no postbox though, reckon will have to wait another 4 weeks:mad:
Bloke down the hole says power might be off for short time today too:mad:
Amazing how no electricty does weird things to your brain....lunch was ruined as it was only half way through cooking....I said to hubby , 'never mind I'll just microwave something!!!' Doh!!....so we had a sandwich and he went fishing, I thought I'd do some ironing:mad:....then I put the kettle on, without thinking ...
Then I fancied a piece of toast, but being smart I realised I couldn't use the toaster, clever clogs me thought I'd use the grill on the cooker...double Doh!! for being extra thick....decided to phone my friend...Doh!! we have a digital one with 2 handsets, they need electricity too....rummaged in loft and got old phone and plugged it in...rang my friend and she said she would come round and pick me up and take me away from all the stress!!!!We went to PC World to study their range of laptops, as she is thinking of getting one....
Do you think T's will be doubling up for laptops later this month peeps?

Dam bad luck Bully it is amazing hom much we rely on our electricity supply:(

Hi everyone. Long time since i have been on the drivel thread, i never have the time to keep up :(

My family got some reduced fish fingers last month :o, brought them home and im sorry but i got excited as it had the little polar bear birdseye thing on the back, to get a free polar bear, sadly they got two packets, giving me 4 coupons, now there was another packet there, but they didnt get it! and so im two coupons short.

i have the entry form so does anyone have two birdseye coupon i can have to claim the teddy?.

i dont know if the packets with the polar bear are still in shops?. Anyway i do have coupons to swap if anyone has the birdseye coupons. :)

coupons i have are some co-op ones that came in the magazine, i think these can be used by anyone, i got £5 off a £30 spend at staples (i have two of these) these expire 20th may

£1 off st ives scrub, 30p off vimto, and tesco use only, £1 off new pantene styling product, £1 pantene shampoo, contioner or treatment. Oh and i also have 6 some Petits filous lids which can be used to schools i think. i wont use any of these coupons so thought i'd ask here :)

please pm me in case you post and i dont see for a while :)

Oh, i also have a 40p off tetley blend of both that came with the free sample they had going :)
