Hermes (£5.99) is cheaper than Yodel (£7.80) to send stuff in UK. So was wondering if any of you use them before.;) Thanks

Hermes have a bad rep. Try one of the companies suggested on the thread.0 -
Just out of interest what make & model ?
1 of them was a 300N which has a 10/100 BaseT Network interface.
it is a Canon i-Sensys LBP5000
ok save me googling please - what is BaseT network interface? take it is a good thing?
and can I get compatibles for mine for £18?
they said it was new, the kids had done something to it, 3 of the little cherubssaw them when they all came to the door. The front door was open and no longer printed.
Husband said it printed half a page in colour and was fine in black and white. But they went and got another one!
I just gently shook the cartridges, put them back in, downloaded drivers, and it worked! full page in colour, no problems!0 -

Had a bit of a womble today and found £40 just lying on the floor, thought it was 'just' £20 but opened it up and there were 2 £20 there. Very pleased.

Thanks for finding it and picking it up PM
I thought I'd lost it forever - didn't think I hear of it again - but here it is.
Must have dropped out when I was wombling before you this morning.
I do remember pulling out my hanky and a couple of receipts fell to the floor but it was only later that I realised I'd lost the £40 that was in the same pocket
You'll recognise that they're mine immediately when I tell you that the Queen is on the front and Adam Smith is on the back.
I'll PM you PM on where to send them.
I'd better call the police back and tell them to call off the search, only they've been out looking since I reported the loss around noon.
Phew ! That's such a weight off my mind
Thanks again PM, I can't express how really really grateful I am.
Cheers

Evening all. Haven't had time to catch up this past week. Dad discharged from hospital but came to stay with us. Really don't think he was well enough to be sent home, but guess they try to clear the wards before the weekend.
Absolutely exhausted looking after both mum and dad, even though dad is now hardly eating or drinking. So frustrating when I am trying to tempt him with something he fancies, but nothing seems to appeal at the moment.
No time for couponing or much else at the moment. Just off for a soak in the bath to try and de-stress.
Will try and catch up with what you have all been up to in the next day or so if I can.0 -

It's basically an ETHERNET connection and 10/100 BaseT is the physical connection method - twisted-pair cable - your laptop/netbook will almost certainly have one as standard - bit like a phone modem cable
As for your LBP5000 ...........

Hi, everybody and thanks for chat ( which i always read) and voucher finds.
Had a bit of a 'find' myself the other day. Went through to Edinburgh with my daughter to use our Hotel choc vouchers and a teenager in front of us bent down to do something, and his wallet fell out his pocket. I ran after him to give it back and a woman who had been watching remarked that that doesn't happen often!
I like to think that that does happen often.
Anyhow, went on to HC with our vchrs and claimed £28 worth of choc each because they didn't have the prize stated on the vchr.
After giving a couple of the chocs away as gifts I was in choc heaven for a few days... feel sick now lol.
Big thanks to whoever found the HC comp.
Also, I know some of you collect the DM club awards so here's a spare maybe someone can use...

I wouldn't recommend IJT direct to my worst enemy for toners/customer service and they spam you something orrid when you have bought from them.
Cheapish recycled toners here for the printer, but no idea about the company as I now buy Original HP toners for my laser now.
