    Evening all:)

Feeling rather sorry for myself tonight:( traveling to pick up DS3 from his school slipped getting on to the train this morning:o hurt the shin bone really bad on a busy train yet no one offered to get help:mad: was on the train about 1/2 hour no ticket person came near got off at St Pancress could barely walk on leg managed to get myself up the two escalaters before I could actually speak to a member of staff who did immediately get a wheelchair I asked if they had a first aid location expressing my concerns that I needed to get my connection at 8am to York. Waited for a colleague to come who explained there was nothing she could give or treat as wasn't bleeding:eek: or any kind of help all I could do was go to Boots I explained am unable to walk and could feel myself about to burst in to tears:o now I know why I hate to travel on my own:(. In the end they wheeled me to Boots where the pharmacist said I really need to go to A&E as may have chipped the shin bone. I said that's impossible as I have to get to my DS as coming home from a Residential School and a Taxi was arranged but I needed to be there as he had never met these people and had to spend 4hrs in the taxi home. So purchased ice packs to use for now agreed to wheel me over to Kings Cross to catch the train, said they would telephone ahead so a wheelchair would be there to get off at York and help with the next connecting train:eek: didn't happen luckily my carriage stopped in front of some seats so managed to get there then when train pulled off managed to call a member of staff for assistance. I realised there are no lifts at last station so when got on at Kings Cross had to call DH out of work and said he would need to come and meet me at York to help. Thank God I am now back home, do think it is just really bad bruising which is now from just below the knee to abt an inch above my ankle but can now walk on the flat as long as I don't bend my knee but when I have it elivated can move the foot slowly forward and back so pretty sure wouldn't be able to do that without a lot of pain if chipped the shin.

The frustrating thing was I could have been picked up by the same Taxi in the morning but as have probs with hips thought spending more than 8 hours sitting in a Taxi might have been a bit uncomfortable so arranged to meet them at the school, boy do I regret that decision now:(. Worse still turned out it was the old fashioned Black Cab so could have had my legs up if needed which was a blessing on the way home

Lost 2.5 lbs this week:j and reached the 1 stone yeah. You probs put on due to the move have you got home all sorted now plus the weather it's been rather miserable :(. Although I have managed to get out for 3 x 1 hour walks this week in between the rain. Bully got the right idea with the Wi especially with all the rain unfortunately DS's got Wi but not Wi fitness:(.

Well done you, especially for reaching 1 stone!:T I think my problem is boredom and with the weather being so rotten it makes me want to cheer myself up - with chocolate! I normally play quite a lot of golf too but the course has been closed due to the bad weather and so I have been sitting in front of the computer too much. Really must try and get out a bit more.

Went to Asda today to use my L'Oreal coupons plus a few others - bill came to £15.04 and after coupons I paid 35p so well pleased. On the way out of the door I spotted an abandoned trolley with a load of screwed up receipts in, so I promptly put my shopping in it and off I went. Once outside I collected up all the receipts and took the trolley back to the parking bay and retrieved the £1 from the trolley. Some people must have more money than sense leaving that.

Got home and entered a couple of the receipts into the price checker and got back one voucher for £2.13, the rest I will have to do tomorrow. So all in all not a bad haul.

AH, what an awful day you've had. I bet you are really glad to be home now. I do think you should still go to A&E to get it checked out.

Anybody know if bagels are cakes or bread?? The NY Bagels are in the 2 for £2 offer along with a long list of various cakes so just wondering if they will be classed as cakes for the PD cake coupon??
