Yes, I wrote on the description "UK Buyer only" yes they still bid for it.

His argument with me email back & forth & one of them is : Portugal if part of EU:rotfl::rotfl:I said proof to me that you have UK office address then I'll send it. He came back with an excuses that his colleague is on holiday therefore there will be no one to accept the recorded mail. Insisted on me sending it to Portugal - part of EU country:rotfl::rotfl: I didn't said I'll send outside UK:D He even took the trouble to paste the Royal Mail link about tracking etc.. Me not care me still don't want to send.

CW - I don't know how to block non UK bidder. Could you post it here for me please. Step by step please:D:D

Here's some information that might help
Here's how to block international buyers from bidding on your items:

    1. Go to Site preferences in My eBay.
    2. Click 'Show' next to the Buyer Requirements section.
    3. Click 'Edit' after 'Block buyers who:'
    4. Tick the 'Block buyers who are registered in countries to which I don't ship' box.

You should also make sure that the 'international postage' box isn't checked when you create your listing.

If your listing has ended with an overseas buyer, but you specified in your listing that you're not willing to post your item overseas, you should write to the buyer and politely explain that they didn't fulfil the terms of your listing. You and the buyer have two options:

    1) Buyer pays the extra postage costs for their country
You can check how much it will cost to post the item to them and the buyer pays you the additional postage.

    2) You agree to cancel the sale
If you both agree not to continue with the transaction, you can refund the buyer's payment. You can then cancel the sale and claim a Final Value Fee credit.

    Well said Aesop

Dr WW just writing it on the item description won't work as lots of buyers don't even read the description.

If the buyer won't agree to cancel the sale and your stuck with final end fees then you can phone ebay and ask them to refund as a gesture of goodwill.

    Thanks Aesop.

Well he did offered to pay for the additional P&P cost but I am fussy pot:D I don't deal outside UK no matter what. It's bad enough some UK buyers are so untrustworthy I don't need ebay/paypal to give me hassle if they decided to claim that the phone is damaged on transit.

I have been there & done it & I don't need it. I have better things to do like raiding me shop:D:D.

Anyway, there are still plenty of free listing day(s) to list again. No hurry, the phone will have to stay on my shelve till I am ready to sell again. I am the boss my boss has no say:p:p even though I am using his account for buying & selling his stuff;)

I wrote in BOLD & in bigger font too. Never mind, both party decided to cancelled it & ebay has already refunded me the final fees.

    Afternoon all.

Hope those feeling poorly yesterday are feeling better today.

A friend just popped in and brought me a huge bouquet of M&S flowers. It was her birthday yesterday and she was given 2 bouquets so gave 1 to me and 1 to another friend as she is going away for over a week. Really brighten up the house.

BS - foot treatment sounds like heaven. :):)

AH - glad you seem to be getting holiday sorted. :)

Aesop - you are a mine of information. You seem to know where to look no matter what anyone needs to know. :A:A

How do you do this as a seller (if the buyer wants you to cancel the transaction)?
How do you do this as a buyer (if the buyer wants to cancel the transaction having made a wrong bid)?

    Thanks for your replies.
