I just know from my receipts at Sainsbobs and Boots, that if something is reduced by a voucher, that is specific to that product, or if I buy reduced items at sainsbobs, they put the original price and underneath the reduced price. so the till only picks up the reduced price and you can clearly see the price difference on your receipt.
not sure what would happen in this circumstance. No doubt someone on the JTD thread will tell us today.
This is how my shareholder stores work :-
Palmolive cost £1.78
Total to pay £1.78
Less coupon -£1.00
Nett total to pay after discount 78p
Price comprison against Asda :-
Tesco £1.78
Asda £1.00
JTD 78p + however many bottles you are getting.
JTD does not take coupon into consideration when the price check. The only thing that they will take into consideration is the reduce price (yellow sticker) against Asda full price.
Like Bully, I have enough hand wash/ hair wash/ dish wash/ detergent / bleach/ toothpaste etc you name it I got it. So me not need Palmolive;);)
What is per purchase??? my understanding is per product not per transaction. So in reality I can get 3 for £3 from asda using 3 vouchers. or 3 x £1 @ Tesco & get the JTD.
Definition of per purchase :-“Limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated.
Limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip” means:
- Only one coupon can be applied to the purchase of an item.
- You can use up to four coupons to buy four of those individual items during one shopping trip.
For example: If there is a coupon that is for “$1.00 off one CoverGirl product,” you can use that one coupon to purchase one CoverGirl product. You can use up to four of those same (like) coupons to buy up to four individual CoverGirl products in one shopping trip.”RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

So you think T will recognise original price of product, despite only paying £1 for it, no discount, you pay £1 for the item regardless of price.0 -
oh AH, have you ever had any problems with the Travel Lodges?
DH stayed at one on saturday and he said it was awful! apart from the fact I had booked him into one that was miles away from his friends who were on a stag do! There were 2 and I asked his friend which one they were booked into, he never replied and I booked the wrong one, thanks to the map not telling the truth!
also, if you don't take the insurance to cancel a travel lodge, how easy are they about cancelling? have one booked for a wedding in May, now DH wants to change to the hotel after his experience on saturday!
You do have to be careful with travelodge site, esp as alot of them are near service stations ie motorways duel carriages which is where most of their original business was from. They are cheap and basic but mostly clean and ok for cost, we have had one incident where we booked near a party we were going to so didn't have to drive home when got back at 1am pulled the quilt back the sheets hadn't been changed:eek: this was a rare incident and did have alot of non english speaking staff employed there suffice to stay we never went back there. BUT we have been booking these for years now and were a godsend when DS1 went to Uni in Wales generally staff are most helpful and very friendly and rarely had any probs.
The room you have booked was it a sale rate or saver rate if so you might as well forget it as no refund policy. We have had many bookings where we paid £9 + but when came to it not been able to use. They are a very difficult company to contact as no telephone no given out but that is why they offer these so cheap 6 months ahead. If it wasn't a special offer you may be able to get refund or credit think Bully may have had more luck in the past even with the saver rate.
Although DH has had a bad expereience at this one won't necessary follow re other one we had a fantastic location at Newquay. Which one are you booked into maybe Bully or I know of that one
Also you can check your booking if has a phone no under address which may be a contact if wanting to ask abt cancelling. Have you checked on tripadviser we never thought to do this before but after not being happy with the Saltash recently we found them on there so maybe can check yours0 -

:rotfl: I didn't print the "moc" so not sure
Edit; Edit :-
this will need trout to overite the "moc" discount of 78p each after the total spend.
Assuming that I will buy 3 @ £1 (after the 78p discount) at T.
They still compare with Asda at £1.78 x 3 against 3 for £1 as the "moc" only comes off after the total spend. Computer does not compute the voucher/mocs factor into consideration when they compare the like for like.
I could have gone & get it since I got nothing better to buy:D:D:D but I don't need it.:cool:RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
