Oh dear AH, so sorry to hear about your bad start to the week. I have never heard of apartment rental being illegal for less than 30 days. Hope you soon get it sorted. Sending lots of hugs your way.

it only came in May 2011 snowdrop. Never was before that, but when you read some of the stories, you can understand why! people being scammed, etc.

BUT if it is a building with less than 4 apartments or something similar, then it can be rented out, it is anything higher that they are clamping down on.

oh AH, have you ever had any problems with the Travel Lodges?

DH stayed at one on saturday and he said it was awful! apart from the fact I had booked him into one that was miles away from his friends who were on a stag do! There were 2 and I asked his friend which one they were booked into, he never replied and I booked the wrong one, thanks to the map not telling the truth!

also, if you don't take the insurance to cancel a travel lodge, how easy are they about cancelling? have one booked for a wedding in May, now DH wants to change to the hotel after his experience on saturday!

    anyone doing T JTD, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=52499885&postcount=451

thanks to Cornflakes_who? - Palmolive in T for £1.78, £1.28 in A, so you will get JTD back.

but don't buy three! £3 for 3 in A, and you can only use one coupon per purchase.
I see you have posted on the other thread Aesop...but I really think everyone will try and use it as a money off coupon....so needs to be posted very clearly by MT as something along the lines of....this coupon says you can buy it for £1 , not get £1 off....so if it is £1.28 in T's you will pay £1 not £1.28.....it is NOT a money OFF coupon , it is a buy for £1 coupon....

Good Morning, just a quick one to let you guys know that JTD is back to normal.

My receipts dd 7/4 now came back even though I know they are either N/A or T is cheaper.

Looks like the have fixed the problem.

If you are going to re-enter change your 24hours time to 12 hours

    eg : 16.25 change it to 4.25

yes I know bullshot, but the till will scan the original item at the original price, and then the coupon will change the price on the till to £1.

unless it is like Sainsbobs or Boots, where they say original price £1.78, underneath -78p and new price £1?

not sure how T would read that receipt or A? or sainsbobs.

well, will wait to see what outcome is, I am not buying them as have plenty of dettol. And T too far to go for them.

sure there will be some people out trying already.

That is if the JTD ever works again!

I'm not using it now,( would have used it if it had been for free product) have plenty of handwash in my stock cupboard that was free or almost free and besides you can usually get handwash cheaper than £1 at most times as it is always on offer in one supermarket or another .....or always £1 in Poundland...:D

I just know from my receipts at Sainsbobs and Boots, that if something is reduced by a voucher, that is specific to that product, or if I buy reduced items at sainsbobs, they put the original price and underneath the reduced price. so the till only picks up the reduced price and you can clearly see the price difference on your receipt.

not sure what would happen in this circumstance. No doubt someone on the JTD thread will tell us today.
