    Morning All! :)

Car broke down in Mozzy's car park on Tuesday. Mobile phone battery dead. CSA really snotty about ringing the AA on a freephone number!

Bad news - car has to go to dumping ground in the sky! Would cost about £1000 to fix the fault and get it through its MOT due next month - only paid £500 for it 3 years ago.

Managed to find little Peugeot 106 for £600 with years MOT and the tax is £150 per year cheaper. Kids hate it - apparently white is not a cool colour for a car!!

Really fed up having to spend this money just now. Trying to pay off our huge credit card debts which we incurred when DH was made redundant but always seems to be something else cropping up.

Sorry to moan - just feel quite depressed!

Sorry to hear about your car BL. I assume you got something for the car from a scrappers? I was suprised that they give so much for cars and collect them as the last car I scrapped about 10 years ago I had to pay them £50 to take it away, but when I scrapped mine about a year ago they paid me a decent amount and it wasn't driveable.

Moan away all you want, it's nice to see you joining in;)

Shopndrop, I hope they are moving your dad because he is better than he was when he went into hospital.

Sis I'll pass on your garden thanks, Aunty Bully's is better cos she got en suite at the bottom of hers (well a river;)):p:p:p
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Cheers doc good to know but im with the hydro.
Its a weird one the faults not on my supply line but have to switch ours off as part of the fix (and when the power is on the telepest isnt as i think their main power is on the line at fault) We were up to 4 holes 2 spnetworks vand a virgin van and a digger when i left. :):)

Sounds like the kind of work we are doing. Spnetworks has a duty of care to the customers property and its surrounding area. If you are not happy with the way they left it ie : without power/ open trenches (holes)/ digger on site / mud on the street etc, you can report & keep reporting it to spnetworks tell them if they don't do something about it, you will tell the council & HSA, and if spnetworks is like powergen I can guarantee you that they will expedite the work to get it done before it reaches the council or ofcom.

As for virgin van - well what can I say - virgin customer service is not as good as utilities company.

Still no harm asking for compensation from spnetworks for lost of electricity supplied to your house.;)

:j:j:j with the help of Vodafone Customer Service "Lee" I now have my £70 cashback tracked.:j:j:j Am happy bunny - shame that I have to do their job (TCB) to get my cashback tracked. But at least they TCB do not keep me in the dark like Quidco when they cheated me almost £150 cashback from RAC & Co-op insurance. Thats the reason why I closed my account with Quidco. Never trusted Quidco ever again.

And I like TCB thats why I make it work for moi:cool:
