    Morning all

Just spoken to the contractor, there not coming today as they have had so many calls :( so almost a week with no heating or hot water. They should be coming tommorow afternoon.

Didn't get any L2s vouchers I'm afraid. Trying to keep warm with plenty of hot drinks.

Glad to hear you had a nice holiday Blue.

    Hello Lee,

First of all I like to wish you Happy Easter.;)

Secondly, I sent you an email regarding my latest cashback claim. They are saying they can't find anything new as having come through from their side.

The next message was that they haven't received any notification but it sounds like there might have been some intervention.

And the last message was :-

They have just ran a couple of tests and it appears that their affiliate network's system is stating that, with reference to my claim, the transaction has been entered against their account.

They would like me to let them know as to whether there is any further information regarding what has happened with my talks with the merchant?

In their words :- Its probably (hopefully) the case that the cashback has been inserted into their account, but no attributing information has been entered to help them match things up.

    Thanks Lee.

    Hi Dr.Who-Who,

I hope that you've had an enjoyable Easter too.

Thanks for the update regarding your cash back claim.

Having checked our emails I can confirm that I've received yours and so will get back to you again as soon as I can.

    Best wishes,

    Lee

Morning all. OK. I know it is mid morning, but had a lie in, actually slept for 11 hours :eek: I knew I was tired, but ......
Never mind, done a bit of housework, now sitting down for coffee and catch up before starting the mountain of ironing. Don't mind as although it was sunny earlier, we now have rain/hail so quite happy to stay in this morning.

AH - how sad that you have to take your DS to work because of others coming out of clubs etc. Fully understand the feeling that if you do it, at least you know he is safely there. Why can't people just leave other people and their belongings alone! Friend was woken yesterday morning at 4.45 and someone was trying to steal their car from the drive. Thief heard their door open and ran. Her hubby gave chase but couldn't catch him! Now they have to sort damage to car.

PM - can't believe how long you are made to be without heating and water. Do you have a maintenance contract? Are they breaking the T&C of contract? Would definitely recommend getting a wheat bag or cherry stones bag that you can heat in the microwave as these can warm you really quickly, especially if sitting under a duvet. Aldi sometimes have them and they are about £4 I think, but well worth it.

Ooo exciting... There's a bottle of perfume I like that's quite expensive so I might treat myself! (that's if mine arrives!)

Sounds like you could really do with the sleep. Sunny here, not sure how long for.

I'm with prob the worst housing assocation ever, been waiting coming up 3 years to move due to the really bad damp here and the boiler keeps going aswell.

There's isn't an Aldi around here I'm afraid.
