There are 3 travelodges in Blackpool and 2 train stations. One is .6 miles from the travelodge we stop at next door to the pleasure beach. http://www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/index.php?action=search&check_from=&locationCode=h382&quickform=Y&location=Blackpool+South+Promenade+Travelodge&checkInDate=10%2F04%2F2012&checkOutDate=11%2F04%2F2012&no_of_rooms=1&adults_1=1&children_1=0&adults_2=1&children_2=0&adults_3=1&children_3=0 It has a bar open till 5am:eek::eek:with reasonable prices but it's a distance from the town/tower, but if your hubby does get his licence back it's the best one for parking as well as there is free street parking outside and around the TL. Are you using the red spotted hanky codes for trains?
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Blue we get so many free train trips then 1/4 fare on the rest as DH works for railways:j so me no need redspothanky :D:p recently saying that did the free £10 few months back and used it to get £10 off Sisters ticket I booked for her, was getting it for DS1 but he only wanted to book his way:eek:.

Your Blackpool T sounds good option from what I remember it mainly flat walking anyway. It's been years since went to Blackpool didn't have DS3 then and he 15 now:eek:. They prob do a bus service into town if need be :j

We took our bikes this time and travelled to the tower/town on them. It would be great if we booked at the same time, although not sure who parties the most or if the travelodge would be ready for us all :D

There is a bus and tram stop opposite the travelodge and they do day/week passes.
