I do this too - I melt them down to use in my greenhouse to keep my seedling warm :).
I will check where I got the wicks from - Amazon I think - I got them with the metal bottoms on ready made. I use 2 old saucepans, one with boiling water in and the other on top with old candles in. Poured melted wax into old yankee candle jars, pop in wick, done! :D

I do,I have moulds from years ago.
I dont buy wicks i bought a large ball of string years(the propper fibre stuff not syntheticy plactic) ago and just dip coat that in wax.Works a treat.
Also wax crayons for colour. But stick to the cheapest supermarket value ones as they tend to be wax based. Some of the kid safe swish ones are not
you can use old youghurt pots as moulds they work well(pierce a hole in the bottom to pull wick through and seal with blue tac) or as jef says fill jars.I have used dowe egberts jars with no issues but done know if other jars might be too thin and shatter

Can you get updates on the FB's as they are growing up? It would be great to find out how they are and what they end up doing in 18 years or so.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
