i have won twice but only been able to redeem once. luckily it prints twice. the cheese ones are quite nice like mini cheddars. I've heard the bacon ones are even nicer.

on the waitrose website it says if you sign up for delivery on your first order they will give you a bake at home heston (blumenthal) lemon tart. amazingly they have a tesco brand match but it excludes temporary promotions, multibuys, own label lines, tesco express and metro. no price limit by the looks of things.

apparently pop chips are free at waitrose with 50p off coupon but be careful as the first time i tried to print something went wrong and you only get 1 attempt as its a smart coupon. also coupon is very big and needs to be printed landscape otherwise half ends up on another page.

Hi All,

I posted this somewhere else as couldn't find the the Tesco Policy but have now ! I was wondering if anyone has come across a problem with the Pilgrims choice coupon in Tesco? I used 2 last Saturday and tried to use 2 on Weds only to be made to look like a complete thief by the check out manager and assistant for trying to use a coupon that they don't accept because it doesn't have the 'blue tick' on it. They were insisting that they donot accept coupons without the tick. I used 2 pilgrims and 2 andrex coupons last week with no problems. Is this just them or a new policy ?

Just bad luck Afitos, as you found last week they were OK. You could always check at CS but even then may not get a consistent reply. Leave the products at the checkout and try again another time etc

The only other thing is that they have have had some local abuse of those coupons and the manager has said no to them in which case try another branch? :beer:

Thanks. I just hate the way you are made to feel, like you are doing something wrong. All my other coupons were accepted and then cancelled as I said i didn't want my shopping because it came under the total spend needed without the cheese. Just hope that they will work next time or I have got loads of coupons that I carn't use

You get used to it eventually;)

May be worth going to CS prior to shop and saying that you are about to use etc and if they say OK you can always send the SuperVisor to CS saying you have already checked!

Got trouted myself the other day, supervisor tried to make up every excuse under the sun with the dettol moc until he eventually said cannot be used in conjunction etc which is the one that I couldn't argue with! Left all my shopping and went in next day and diff SV said yep no probs!:cool:

Anyway think this 'chat' so we are being naughty discussing this here :o
