    I've been Money Tipped!
    BAD NEWS i'm afraid

i was trouted on saturday in asda trying to use a coupon so decided to follow it up

rang store involved and they insisted that asdas new policy was to except no printable/internet coupons

not happy so rang HO number 08009520101

spoke to lovely chap who thought policy hadn't changed and rang store for me whilst i was still on phone

store customer service manager insisted no coupons and says its a national policy.

back to me i say seems strange not to inform him & other phone staff as if i hadn't asked him to phone through he would have just misinformed me
so off he goes to speak to a more senior staff member & duty manager.

    HERES THE BAD NEWS
they are adament/100% sure this is asdas new nationwide coupon policy
NO printable/internet coupons what so ever will be excepted
(this is due to the high number of fraudulant coupons they have been getting through i.e ones sold on ebay)

their suggestion is to contact companies instead and get them to post coupons out to you

lets just hope other stores don't follow suit

same story for me but in my local Morrissons. spoke to the store manager. same story.he even phoned head office and phoned me back 1 day later to say that they no longer accept internet coupons printed at home :(

    Wow, they went quickly,

By the time I had plugged the printer into my netbook they had gone.
  • Thanks MT for the update on ASDA

OT went in today and they let him use the curiously cin moc, his apgs, and some heinz beans moc. This time though he only used 4 of each of the pdfs just to test them & went through fine. Im sure it will filter down to our store soon though. We are in Bolton

if you still have any of the kleenex coupons which come on the back of the Huggies starter kits...

asda are clearing the kleenex 2 packs for just 50p.. so u can get packs for £1 and then free with your £1 coupon. here is the link to the chatter about it on HotUKdeals.. ive just got back from Mr A's in Bolton and the 2 packs were 50p there also.

The coupons are for Kleenex Balsam so not sure if they'd take them for regular Kleenex boxes?

This has happened at our local A store as well. Told by A HO it is now company policy :(
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
