Walkers Crisps - Even less crisps now!!

You know how you don't get that many crisps in a pack of Walkers?! Well, you get even less now!

24 Pack is now 22 & 18 pack is now 16!

How long until a 12 pack becomes 10 & a 6 pack become 4???

Great, so now you get less bags in a packet and less crisps in a bag. I will only buy them when they are on special offer, can't bring myself to pay full price for what amounts to a bag of air with a few bits of potato thrown in :rotfl:.

I just got 18 classic pack yesterday from home bargains. I guess it must be old stock now. I am sure size has gone down from 27g to 25g in recent times. I only ever buy them when they are on offer

Gits, I hadn't noticed they had cut from 18 to 16, leaving out 2 packs of salt and vinegar.

The thing is, the offer price is probably the real price. They hike up the price, bring it back down and call it a special offer, and we buy it thinking we are getting a bargain.

Its the same as snack a jacks,they used to be 6 packets in a multipack and mostly on offer for 2 multipacks of 6 packs for £3,they downsized to 4 packs in a multipack and its still same 2 multipacks of 4 bags for £3.so 4 packets less for same price!walkers manufacture these too

Yep I noticed that the other day, Tesco's were selling I think a 22 pack instead of a 26 pack. Also not long ago it used to be 31g in a pack, now the same size packaging but only 25g of crisps. And very often now I'm seeing 5-packs instead of 6-packs.
I did notice in B&M bargains the other day, they were selling 18-packs for £1.49, but they were marked "short dated stock" (use by date was end March) so I'm thinking they're going to be phased out soon

Can't say i am bothered, only buy Lidl 24 packs their own
make, much tastier and only £1.99

That's such a rip-off ! If you want to complain their website is https://www.walkers.co.uk and you can email from there or call the freephone number. Personally I can't eat crisps anymore or my GP will nag me. I love the smell best.

we no longer buy multi packs, the amount of crisps per bag has goten ridiculous
we now buy individual bags of golden wonder from home bargains
20p a bag, lots more crisps for your money, they are 34.5g bags
(sorry i dont know now what is in a multibag packet, but its nowhere near as much)
