Advice on bank replies please

Hi

I sent off some ppi complaint letters to a few banks clearly outlining my reasons on the letter for ppi mis-sell.

I've had a few back but albeit some banks have acknowledged my complaint AND said they will open an investigation, they have also enclosed the FOB questionnaire for me to fill in and send back.

Is this normal? I don't know why they'd want the questionnaire filling in given I'd already outlined in detail my reasons for mis-selling.

Has anyone else had this? Do you have to fill in the form even though they say they'll investigate the complaint?

Cheers

Gary

As the Ombudsman will require this form to be filled out in the event of you disagreeing with the bank's final response, it makes sense for the bank to be responding in the first instance to your complaint as presented on said form.
