We have one of Rupert Murdochs companies based 200 yards from our business park, and he has not provided enough parking for his employees on the site, as a result there are cars parking up the route to our business park, making it notoriously dangerous when coming into the park, accidents occuring all the time. In the bad winter two years ago we had to phone them to threaten to get the police out to remove their cars as larger delivery trucks could not get to us due to cars being lined up along a road that without the cars parks on the road should be easily accessible, even in exceptional snow. Our business suffered huge inconveniences due to this as we rely on parts getting delivered to the office for distribution. Our office has limited parking spaces. If it weren't for our trusty carpark 'janitor', it horrifies me that I might not even get to park in front of my own office as the volume of 'illegal' parkers is huge......... ! Yes private car parking charges are severe, not going to argue with that, and of course I dont like them but its a double edged sword in that sometimes its not 'cowboys' we are dealing with but landlords that have paid good money for the land, and tenants that are paying this also..........so why not let the skinflint Rupert Murdoch types flak the bill............send your fines to the people who should be providing parking spaces be it the council, your employer.........

You have a car park janitor so why can he not ID people at the entrance, even just as a presence standing there he would put most people off chancing it.
You could add cheap key-operated parking space poles (£30 - £40) if you want as well. Either at your bay or just position a couple at/near the entrance overnight unless you have deliveries out of hours in the business park?
As it stands it's like you are leaving your front door open - not surprising that someone comes in really. Human nature (not condoning it, just understanding it).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not clear from your account, OP, by "car park janitor" do you mean a PPC? If so, problem is, once they have driven out the interlopers, they then turn on the people who are entitled to be there, to keep their profits healthy...0

This is a "money saving." forum....most of the posts in this section seem to be directing people how to save money.....forgive me but I fail to see how your different angle would save me money....sniff sniffA PPC is not just for Christmas...with a few CCJ threats you should have enough toilet paper to last well into the new year.....0

Loathe as I am to question the integrity of individual posters but I continue to be struck by the coincidence of similar posts to this one by QSlady with others that proclaim the oh so infrequent "victories" of PPC's. There are similar threads on other fora that have all appeared over the last week or so that allude - albeit obliquely - at situations in which the poster ultimately makes the suggestion that so awkward is their case that the only solution is to employ a PPC.
I suppose that such a thread could be genuine so forgive me QSlady if my cynicism has overtaken me on this occasion. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
