You may have to tell your other half how much the ring cost for insurance reasons. Items over a cartain value will only be covered if they are individually named on the policy. DH sheepishly gave me the receipt and said 'you had better phone the insurance company'
The thing about the same metals is right, and we have platinum which means his ring is platinum too. I think most people look at it would think it is white gold which suits me bcos I was scared of getting mugged!
