BMW 1 Sseries servicing offer, 5yrs £190

Thought it was worth telling you all about this, for 1 Series built from production week 10 (mid March), they have a servicing offer for 5yrs/60,000 miles for £190...our BMW dealer partners confirmed this today..so well worth a consideration to make that model appealing for drivers concerned about servicing costs.

It covers all standard servicing items like oil change, sparks, microfilter for aircon, brake fluid etc

This sounds very good value, and it is probably transferable if you sell you car before the 5 years is up. I am particularly interested in the 118d which has a combined fuel economy of over 60MPG. What is dealdrivers best price for a 118d M Sport 5dr with metallic (+ the servicing offer)??

    £20,466 looking at the site.

It's not bad value for a 60 mpg, 140 bhp prestige car with five years' servicing and which should still make £11k - £12k at three years' old, but even with the low running costs, it's not really cheap motoring.
Debt at highest: September 2003 - £26,350
    Debt now: £14,100

mmmm. Might be worth having a testdrive, I currently have a 320d M sport Touring, and I am only getting about 46mpg on the motorway.
The 1 series shape grows on you and it does look a bit better after the facelift.
  • Kim...if you contact us direct we have 20 x X3 stock deals coming in to us today (all standard cars with no extras apart from metallic paint), just awaiting colours and trims info later on, and the 1 series (118D M Sport assuming you want metallic paint and the £190 servicing deal comes to £20495 if we calculate it with 12mths road tax on delivery rather than 6mths (your choice of how you prefer to pay your road tax).

    Hope that helps

Dealdrivers is that the latest 1 series (ie facelift?). It doesnt even have the full spec/details available on BMW website yet.
  • Yes it is, we are quoting on all post wk10 production models now..which is the facelift model. Ordering has picked up on 1 Series now the new design has been revealed..people are really liking it and it's a good alternative to an A3.

The data on the new ones came out to the dealers about 4-5 weeks ago so we get it the info' at the same time to enable us to quote accurately on factory orders. I checked BMW's website yesterday as the data we had ref' the servicing offer seemed too good to be true, but they just haven't updated their site yet.

There's a batch of things like 320D SE and 318D SE saloons (current build, standard cars, no extras) we've got good deals on, but very few pre facelift 1's or 5's left in the more popular engine spec's.
