Career development loan for my son

I transferred a balance to Natwest in August with 18 months 0%. My son was rejected for a career development loan to do a masters degree, and I agreed to help him fund it. Since I am over my initial 3 month period for transfers, I can't use my Natwest card. I am thinking of using a Barclaycard account that has been clear for years (they keep sending me offers of 18 months at 0%). My question is, can I pay the fees with the Barclaycard and then transfer the balance from the Natwest, or should I just leave the Natwest one alone?

Is the Barclaycard 0% offer for BTs or purchases (or both)?0

Looks like it's just for balance transfers. I can't see any mention of purchases. I just assumed all balance transfers allowed you to make purchases as well.0

In which case, you'd be best off paying for it with the Natwest and then BTing to the Bcard.0

Thanks for that! It's as I thought. I just wasn't sure if transferring after six months was a good idea.0
