word of warning when filing claim over the phone

Hi guys
I phoned Halifax last week to start my claim and they took all the details over the phone (Indian call centre I presume from the accent)

Well today I received my acknowledgement letter which has a list of the reasons I gave for my claim, all I can say is they were not taken very well by the representative I spoke to and made me look rather foolish, they didn't include all my reasons and some had been given artistic licence.

So today I phoned back up to rectify this and made sure they read them back to me, I had to correct them a few times while I was on the phone.

So if you choose to make a claim over the phone make sure you get them to read the reasons back to you before you hang up.
