  • My husband was allowed to have his step-father's details - so if you have one you may want to ask. I suggest ringing the registrar a few days before to discuss with them, as it's really not something that you want to discuss when you're in your dress about to go down the aisle (as that's when details are confirmed - or was at mine). Knocked me off course having to say my dad was deceased when I was already super emotional xxx

    Ooo, I hope my registra is nice and tells me I don't have to put my biological fathers name on ours.

    He too is an ar5e and I haven't spoke to him for nearly 9 years. I wouldn't even know what he does now, he was in the army but I'm guessing he may have retired now or have a civilian job.

    Just read this:

    I hope I can do this, I classify my step dad as my “real” dad so this would be nice. I’ll ask them when we give notice.

    cStupid question but like others, i dont speak to my biological father and havent for years- can i put my step dads details on there and he is to me my 'dad'?
