    Hmmph.
I posted this deal shortly after posting on HUKD.
Things went a bit crazy on there, but wanted to share it here also as have been a long time poster.
Now I find it is included on martin's e mail with no credit here, but around 890 people "liking" it via the email, but only 15 people have bothered to say thanks on this thread.
I doubt many would have found it at the time,I stumbled on it whilst looking for other bus tickets on 8th march.
It was only in small print on the website then.I didnt book tickets myself but wanted to spread the word.
Oh well,at least HUKD managed to say thanks when posting their email and thank you to the 15 who bothered here.

Found tickets that would get me a London-Paris return for £15.50, not so many left at the moment for £1 (I only saw 1).

It's one to keep an eye on. At £15.50 it's miles better than the minimum £69 Eurostar!

Thanks OP, am dying to go to Paris!

It's miles better than Eurostar - except the miles-worse, lower-class treatment of coach travellers (ALL?) by border controls and customs. They check your passport at the coach station, scan it, enter it into their database, so isn't that verification enough within the EU? Bear in mind that people travel without passport, travel with passport without even having checks all the time between France/Benelux/Germany/Spain/Italy, so it's hardly justified by security, plus isn't there some freedom of movement EU rule? One rule for the rich, another for the poor, of course...
Point being that when you're on a really long coach journey, with NO chance to get off and shop freely, to have any significant breaks, or sneak anything on/off/change people, the HASSLE is not justified by the security issues.
If they do that to people, but never even x-ray all baggage, anyone could still put a bomb on board. So it's a hassle that doesn't even protect you from being blown up (nor the tunnel train you're on, incidentally).
Apparently, even though the coach NEVER stops within the French border, they usually check OUTGOING coaches, meaning French customs on British soil at Folkestone, apparently with drug dogs, or at least everyone has to get off the coach, wait whilst the French customs take their passports out of sight (tampering always possible, imagining a corrupt official... just saying) and then return them 10 minutes later. You get none of this faffing about on Eurostar nor by aeroplane. Why is this? Do they prejudicially expect the poorest people (coach passengers) to pull some sort of scam? Ignorant, it's the bankers and their mates who're the real scammers, and in this age of scarce resources for government agencies, why is it skewed like this? I've got nothing to hide, incidentally, I just don't like being rubbed-up the wrong way when I'm already committing to an unpleasant lack of legroom for ten hours on a coach at inconvenient times of day, or overnight, even (had to get out and talk to British customs, exhausted at 2:30am whilst the whole coach was searched on the way back from Paris once - why?) :(

A bit late putting it on the Martin's Money Tips as the £2.50 tickets were sold out 4 days ago. :wall:
You don't have to wait for the email. If you are too lazy to look for yourself, then inevitably sometimes you will miss out.
Thanks to all who post constructively.
