Trent Business Company - Likely scam?
Comments
-
This is a money laundering scam run by Eastern European criminals. The address on the website is fake and most of the content and all of the images have been stolen from other, reputable companies.
The crooks behind Trent (or Trents as they've managed to misspell it on the website) have created many websites in the past for the sole purpose of stealing money from desperate job hunters. This poster has compiled a big list of them but I'm sure there are others:

I was taken in by this scam... but i ended up with their money!
After you respond to the email (first mistake, was desperate for job) they arrange to phone you, the only details they want from you is your account number and sort sode. Which i thought as they can't take money out with only that information i'd do it, they say it's so they can put an X amount of money into your account of which you would take £30 for your days training and then 'practice' sending money either via money grab or western union. They deposited nearly a grand into my account and then said i need to transfer it to sumone in ukraine, kyiv. I was going to use money grab which thankfully shouted at me don't do this in bold black capitals lol They said as the money has gone into my account they don't need to put their company details on it as third party... good way to money launder! I hope this helps sumone in the future before they end up depositing the money.. i didn't

You've ended up with stolen money, and maybe.. fraud investigation, a closed bank account, fraud markers against your name and a criminal conviction. If you haven't informed the bank do so ASAP.0
