pricebusters have ceased trading !

i purchased something from a shopping channel and i paid via credit card and i have just found out they ceased trading today,they have taken money from my credit card and i have not received anything ,what can i do??

is my credit card liable?

i tried phoning the company and i got no reply.

  • Yes you should get your money back from your CC company, phone them up and give details of the transaction.

    I think it has to be £100 or over. How much did you spend. (not 100% sure)

    I have claimed in the pass for amounts less then £100 don't belive there is a certain limit that you can as credit cards protect you against fraud.

    i read more on the internet,the staff have not been paid and they dont know where the boss is!!

    These shopping channels on Sky should be avoided like the plague.

    Probably all run by crooks. Here today, gone tomorrow. They are the current version of the Mock Auction, you know, those sales where you think you're buying a TV only to find the box full of dog poo when you get it home.

    Sky only transmit the programmes because it earns them money. They should be held liable for the shortcomings of these companies - that way they wouldn't transmit their programmes!!!!
